Significance of Samadhi

In India, according to Vedic tradition, the place of Samadhi is often seen as a more powerful spiritual portal than when the Mahatma or Avatar was alive. The reason is that while alive, a lot of energy is dispersed, for example, while walking, eating, and talking with people. Only when Swami would be alone would He really go into His own Universal Supreme Consciousness without reserve. His wattage would increase when He was within His own four walls. If He appeared like this while giving darshan, devotees would be unable to withstand the lightning jolt of energy being emitted from His body. Many times, Swami would therefore tone Himself down, according to the capacity of a person to handle it.


At the time of Samadhi, all the energy is harnessed and focused on the Universal Supreme Consciousness. Therefore, at the point of a Mahatma or Avatar’s passing, their cellular structure gets an Almighty blast of consciousness for the very last time, which is the very last imprint to remain on the cells of their body.


Science has proven that the DNA within the billions of cells in the human body act as transmitters of consciousness and other etheric energies. The cells in Swami’s body have been exposed to incredibly intense spiritual vibrations over decades, which have transformed His cellular structure into another dimension of existence, permanently. Quantum physics tells us that when a subatomic particle is exposed to extremely high frequencies of energy for a certain period of time, it will flip into a quantum state or another dimensional state. Physicists now believe there to be at least ten dimensions of reality and have recognised that consciousness is the most powerful force in the known universe.


Consequently, the cells in Swami’s body are still situated in that Almighty quantum state, and have received a potent surge of energy at the point of His physical departure. This has rendered the cells in His Divine body as perfect transmitters and receivers of energy. In effect, each cell in His Divine body is a sublime portal to the dimension of Universal Supreme Consciousness, more so now than ever before! This is why His body was completely immersed in several hundred kilograms of salt to preserve the cellular structure as much as possible, and not cremated as is normally done in Vedic tradition. By burying the body of a Mahatma or Avatar, great emanations will be emitted, continually purifying the Earth, its lay lines, and all those who earnestly pray before it.


The soul of a Divine Being always stays close to Its Samadhi and will use the quantum cells of Its Divine body to receive and transmit powerful Divine Consciousness without interruption. This is why in India, Samadhis are seen as highly auspicious and many seekers throughout the ages lived and undertook sadhana near the Samadhis of great souls.
