Baba Report G-26-7-11

Sai Ram,

The crowd was smaller and the weather was cloudy keeping temperatures cool. It was a great time to be here. Baba’s presence was being felt by many people. The MahaSamadhi gets more joyful everyday.

Some groups were here from Holland, Australia and the Los Angeles area of California as well as places in India. Bhajans and Rudram were great. The chanting of “Sai Gayatri” as we go past the Samadhi was wonderful. The time spent waiting with listening to this chanting was elevating.

Friday – 22 July. The international orthopedic conference got underway today. See the press release.

In the evening a group of about 120 people from Arcadia and Glendale (Near Los Angeles) California gave a music performance. It was an interesting mixture of songs from different cultures.

During the second part which involved the audience joining in, I prayed to know how Baba felt about the performance. My inner eye showed that the flame in the center of the Samadhi was higher indicating Baba’s approval.

Saturday – 23 July. Devotees from the Medak district of Andhra Pradesh performed tonight with Sasidhara Sharma, TV artist, singing with 11 other people for 45 minutes.

A large number of attendees to the orthopedic conference came for darshan.

Sunday – 24 July. Medak district presented a dance drama called “Prarthana”. It dealt with the lack of morality and virtues in today’s world. It dramatized a conflict between following these values and the way of the world which is materialism and corruption. Sai Baba’s teachings versus the world.

Meanwhile, the orthopedic conference ended with thanks to Sai Baba and the Central Trust.

Monday – 25 July was for Sai Youth Australia gave a musical program. The devotional music was separated by comments. It was well received. The devotion of the 65 youths was much appreciated

Tuesday - 26 July. The performances have stopped for a while. The crowds are considerably smaller. Many people have left. Some people from Germany have arrived. Everyone will be here by the weekend to prepare for a musical performance of international music at the end of next week.

We had some rain during the last 2 evenings. Weather has been cooler with cloudy skies.

This remains a great time to visit. A wonderful opportunity to go within and to feel Baba’s presence especially in Kulwant Hall.

How the truth becomes a false rumor. It was reported on the internet that some people, while they were standing on line to touch Baba’s MahaSamadhi, saw a cobra on the top of the tomb. No one panicked as it was assumed that it was Baba. The truth was that a small snake was seen near the Ganesh statue. It was televised on the local Telegu channel.

Isaac Tigrett, who is going to make some major announcements soon, probably in the next few weeks, said in his speech in Mumbai last May that Sai Baba made two speeches last year where he stated that the new age will begin in 26 years from now. It will be one world.

The Central Trust has a new secretary - Prasada Rao. See Press Release 13.

Nimish Pandya gave a wonderful talk on Guru Purnima. You can watch it at http://vimeo.com/26611292 video or audio link: http://soundcloud.com/sairam99999/nimish-pandya-150711.

There was a wonderful supplement put out by the Book and Publishing Trust about Baba’s legacy. I was unable to download it to supply as an attachment but you can view it at http://srisathyasai.org.in/Pdf/Eternal_Legacy.pdf
