Sai Channeling

Meditation this morning was OK, but my mind is still going around and around sort of like that little circle on the computer screen which shows it is downloading.

Today I thought I would tackle the vital question: Should I get a puppy because all the other elderly people here have them. But, I couldn't figure how to get anything spiritual out of writing about puppies. Course we know that everything is spiritual, really, don't we, as there is only Divine energy Everything is Swami. Perhaps that would be a good blog...but I think most of my blogs have been either about the omnipresence of the Lord or about the Atma which is the same.

We may wonder how everything can be God, . I can tell you what I think because we've heard Swami explain it many times. Frankly I forget just how this works. Ah yes, everything we can see with out physical eyes is false, it is maya. Remember the brick wall looking solid when it isn't anything but a bunch of whirling atoms. But what we can't see, consciousness or energy is Swami...is the truth. Don't ask me why we know this because I'm not altogether sure myself. You know, I can't reason it out but I know it is the truth. You can pick up a stone, dust it off and place it on a nice piece of cloth keeping it pure and sacred. OK then you just have to love it and pray to it and it will respond...in some way. Of course it could really be thr love from yourself which is creating the feeling of consciousness. And anyway, is consciousness only a feeling from the heart or is it the Truth which comes from our intelligence. Dear God, how did I get into this at five in the morning. I should have stayed with the puppies.

I think that when you get into 'the absolute' there's no where else to go. It is really the bottom line. I sort of wish Swami had taken this blog to a different place . NOT that I'm inferring that my blogs are from Swami even though we may or may not accept that He is all there is. Now we are into a murky area, CHANNELING.

I have always felt that people who set themselves up as channels are...are what...on an ego trip? No I don't think that. Everyone is a channel because God is all there is. Some are better at it than others. Does Swami write the crap we find in the newspapers? As a matter of face, let's ask the basic question, what about evil? If there is only the Lord manifesting in various colors and hues then He is the negative too. How can that be? He pretends to be a good energy or a negative energy in order to make this tapestry of light and dark. He creates even good inspirational writing and the newspaper crap just so we might take sides and fight for the good and against the bad. He always seems to be intent on testing our intentions, doesn't He? Sometimes I can imagine Him just sitting some place with a grade book and a pencil, saying, 'what are you doing now, Susie, haven't you gotten past those silly ideas yet after all my work as a goldsmith. OK, I'll have to bang you a few more times to encourage you to be more independent.'

I wish I'd done my morning prayers before jumping into all this. Or at least a mantra or two. I thought I was going to discuss my website this morning but as usual 'the absolute' got to me first and swallowed me up....like a black hole or even a bright shining laser light beam. And it's getting light outside too.
