Temple for Saibaba opened for public

Coimbatore, Sept 8 (PTI) A temple, claimed to be the first in the world having a shrine for Sathya Sai Baba was opened for the public on the city outskirts today. The Kumbhabhishekam (anointing ceremony) was performed at the temple in Samayanur, about 20 km from here, amid chanting of Sai Bhajans, Ramabadran, Managing Trustee of Swagatham Sai Mandir, said in a release here. A three-foot nine inch tall idol, with Saibaba in a sitting posture and with Abhayahasta (blessing pose), was sculpted in white Makrana Marble in Jaipur, he said.
